This stone farmhouse, situated on one of the lovely hills above Todi, has been conceived with a simple linear beauty, which today offers an easy, comfortable living space. Ideal for families with children, the large living room, a contemporary interpretation of old Umbrian country style, has an ample steel very well equipped kitchen with three French windows that lead out onto a covered pergola, from where the view is second to none.
Cultivated fields sweep gently down to a semi-wooded valley, with Todi resplendent in the distance. A long corridor leads from the living room to the double bedrooms, both of which have glass doors opening directly into the garden on the “panoramic” side of the house. The rooms are furnished in a minimalist, but functional style. Adjacent to the house is the swimming pool, with the same splendid panorama as the covered patio.
The house is surrounded on three sides by 3 hectares of open fields which make up part of the property, and by a small wood slightly further away. The property is located nine kms from the charming medieval city of Todi, one of Umbria’s famous cultural jewels. A perfectly preserved historic town, Todi has a world-wide reputation for its beauty and cultural events. The city centre’s “piazza” is ideal for dining outdoors or for sipping cocktails as you take in the glorious surroundings.
