Casolare, fondly known as the “Hanzel and Gretel house”, was once a favorite country retreat for the estate owners. This house is surrounded by woodland, making it feel wonderfully private and secluded, yet it is only 1km from the nearest town. The building has been lovingly restored and transformed into a luxurious and welcoming villa.
Casolare overlooks a terraced landscaped garden area, where you will find a swimming pool with its own sun terrace and spa as well as an outdoor dining area with barbeque. The building is set in private, enclosed grounds featuring a large area of lawn dotted with woods and attractive flower beds.

Additional Information
Villa Saletta estate, once owned by the Riccardi family (bankers to the Medici), covers approximately 1,760 acres. In total, there are more than 20 old farmhouses on the estate, mostly dating back to the 1800s. Each one has its own story to tell, being unique and individual in size and location.
Three of these farmhouses have been restored so far. Every restored villa has its own private grounds with electric gates, outdoor swimming pool, barbecue and comfortable shaded seating areas.
