Two private driveways lead you to Podere Cecilia, a beautiful 18th century renovated property consisting of a main villa, a guesthouse and an infinity edge pool on 3.5 acres of private gardens. Podere Cecilia is fully immersed in the countryside, yet conveniently located for day trips to Siena, San Gimignano, the Chianti wine area, Volterra, Pisa, Arezzo or the seaside. Silence is the key element of this property.
The living room opens to a spacious terraced pergola with a large wrought-iron table to accommodate up to 12-15 guests for al fresco dining. A wood-fired stone barbeque and pizza oven are also available for authentic Italian cooking.
The pool area has a beautiful view on the countryside, and is just across from the villa and guest house. The pool is fenced in and surrounded by planted herbs and rose bushes. A gazebo and a stone patio with comfortable chairs are situated amongst the olive groves surrounding the villa.
The whole property is heated and cooled by a geothermal system that maintains a constant temperature, eliminating the need for additional air conditioning and/or heating.
The nearest town, Casole d’Elsa, has essential conveniences such as small grocery stores, bank, pharmacy and post office. The homes are on a natural ridge surrounded by a wooded valley and traditionally cultivated farmland.
