This wonderfully appointed luxury holiday villa sits on a 650 sq.m. (7,000 sq.ft.) beachfront lot in the exclusive residential gated community of Hermosa Palms on Playa Hermosa.

Consisting of the main house and guest house, Villa La Costa is an eclectic combination of traditional and modern elements, showcased in Costa Rica's renowned Estilos y Casas magazine. Here, tiled roofs, exposed brick domes, rock walls and world art pieces – including original modern art paintings by Tico artists – blend with oversized windows, Italian marble, comfortable mattresses, high-end appliances and an open layout.

The main house boasts high ceilings with exposed wooden beams and ceramic tile floors. The living area opens to the terrace through sliding doors and isn't far from the dining area, with seating for six. The gourmet kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances and beautiful cabinetry, has a view of the beach and pool. There is a storage room for surfboards.

The second-floor sun deck, as well as the covered terrace which overlooks the beach and pool, are ideal for outdoor living. These spaces are furnished for comfort whether relaxing, entertaining, or alfresco dining. The pool has a separate children's pool and the beach club’s oversize pool is only a few feet away.

The break at Playa Hermosa is the most consistent in Costa Rica, and well known among surfers. If you don’t surf, simply enjoy strolling along the long, beautiful stretch of unspoiled beach or swimming at low tide.

Hermosa town, only a 5 minute drive away, is the closest stop for restaurants, bars and groceries. Jaco has more variety, and is just 10 minutes further north. Golf and fishing are 20 minutes away, at Los Suenos Resort and Marina.

While the Villa La Costa consists of the main house and the guesthouse together, they can be rented independently for smaller groups (though not applicable during peak season). If one house is rented separately, the unoccupied house is locked off to ensure a private villa holiday.
