This Tuscan retreat has great charm, is available for exclusive private rental (long or short term) and is also host to a 4 and 6-day Tuscan cooking school.

Fully air-conditioned Villa Lucchese has 12 spacious and individually styled temperature controlled suites, all with superb modern en-suite bath and shower rooms. Some rooms have hydro massage and all open out to unique and unforgettable views across Italian gardens, olive groves and picturesque hills. The gracious living areas overflow into the many reception rooms, including card and billiard room, sun lounge, piano room with log fireplace, grand dining room, drawing room/TV lounge and a warm and welcoming fully-equipped, professional Tuscan kitchen where cooking classes can be held, the heart of the home. The ground level has 4 powder rooms for added convenience. There is also a central music system that can be diffused throughout the premises and can be individually controlled (switched on/off on a per room basis). A security/surveillance system is available if requested, as well as gym room with weight and cardio training equipment.

Outdoors, the estate offers large floodlit swimming pool, mountain bikes, and al fresco dining in a genuine Italian piazza or beside a 17th century ornamental fountain once a fish breeding pond. Horseback riding is available at the estate's equestrian center or through a spectacular national park filled with wild boar and deer. Lucchese's guests can enjoy tennis at a nearby private club, and several 18-hole golf courses are nearby. To make your stay extra special, activities such as individual cooking lessons including specialized pastry courses, spa treatments and massage, entertainment and musical evenings, and specially organized cheese and wine tasting dinners with a top sommelier can be organized.

The historic town of Lucca features many attractions and unlimited historic charm. Take a stroll or rent a bicycle and ride through the town past famous monuments, ancient walls, several churches and the Guinigi Tower, which has trees planted at the top. In the town's cathedral is a small chapel containing the famous "volto santo" cross of Lucca. Every September 14th, the huge procession of Santa Croce fills the streets of Lucca to commemorate the date when the cross was first brought to the town. Tourists from all over the world come to enjoy this annual local tradition. Make sure to visit the church of Saint Michele, and then enjoy cappuccino in Saint Michele square. And don't miss shopping along the Via Fillungo! There is something interesting to discover around every corner of Lucca.

North of Lucca, the famous Garfagnana Valley extends for miles, a splendid natural vista of mountains and hills. Along the way, stop at the famous "Devil's Bridge"—legend says the Devil himself has visited this spot. A huge Halloween celebration is held here every year. In Pisa, the famous Leaning Tower awaits: a must for all who come to Italy. Nearby Forte Dei Marmi is one of the most popular places in Italy during the summer, boasting a beautiful beach, elegant shops and boutiques, and active nightlife of bars and discos like La Capannina and the Twiga Club.
