This stunning property is situated in Gragnanno, on top of a hill with beautiful views of the surrounding vineyards, olive groves and Lucca city. Its recent restoration was completed in a contemporary boutique-style by a renowned Italian architect and is of a very high standard in all respects. The interiors are airy, there are many windows including French doors opening onto the garden, thus making it a property full of light, emphasized even more by the open spaces and two-sided fireplace in the open plan media room.
The British owners use the property frequently for their holidays and have furnished it with modern equipment: air conditioning in all bedrooms, flat screen TV, high quality hi-fi system, dryer, internet connection and a billiard table. A particular feature is also the very well equipped high tech gourmet kitchen, with a professional Lacanche stove.
The layout of the garden has been created by a very talented landscape architect and the result is truly impressive. The beautiful swimming pool has been located in one of the most panoramic positions of the garden and has an electric cover that maintains the water temperature higher in the mid seasons. La Corte Malgiacca Estate produces its own olive oil and wine. This property is not suitable for children under 12.

- Swimming pool is not enclosed with fences and there are no lifeguards. Clients’ use of the swimming pool is at their own risk
- Water and Electricity - Water shortages may occur; please use it sparingly during the summer months. At the same time, Italy is one of the few countries in the world where the government has introduced a system of electricity limitators to contain the national consumption. Be careful when using more than one appliance at once because the limitator will shut the electricity off.
- Internet connection - When a connection is interrupted due to technical reasons beyond control, it is unfortunately very difficult, to receive immediate assistance from some of the internet providers operating in Italy. BlackBerry, or a similar portable device is strongly suggested.
