La Cerisaie

La Cerisaie is a beautiful estate located in the heart of Luberon, between Lacoste and Bonnieux. The estate consists of two houses about 350 meters from each other on 7 hectares of land, set in a cherry orchard and with beautiful views of the nearby villages and the Luberon Valley. Conveniently located between Avignon and Marseille, the property is an excellent base to explore the numerous historical local towns, famous hilltop villages and wine regions.

The main house is divided into 4 levels and equipped for 14 guests, ideal for 3 couples and up to 8 children. The main house sits amidst an expansive landscaped garden and several terraces, and boasts a tennis court as well as a large, L-shaped swimming pool protected by a wrought-iron fence. A covered area with a table and benches allow for relaxed afternoons in the shade. The garden is planted with lavender, boxwood, cherry trees, cypress, rose trees and more.

Rented with the main house is the Bonnieux Mansion. This villa has been meticulously restored while retaining such original features as Provençal ceilings, a traditional XVIII century fireplace and stone columns, in addition to adding contemporary comforts. Comprised of 4 double suites including "The Dovecote", "The Tower", "and The Mount Ventoux", the villa offers comfortable accommodation for up to ten guests. Outside are a multitude of lounging and al fresco dining options, either in the manicured grounds surrounding the house or by the fountain shaped pool and its pool house.

Guests generally fly intoCharles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) in Paris and transfer to the high-speed TGV train headed for Avignon (approximately 2hours, 40minutes). Once in Avignon, a car hire is suggested to drive to the villa.
Other options include flying into Marseille (MRS) or Nice (NCE) and then renting a car.
There is also a small airport in Avignon that receives some flights from London and can also accommodate private jets.
