Politicians - including Winston Churchill, Pierre Trudeau, and Henry Kissinger – royalty, and celebrities alike have graced the private white sands in front of Frankfort, one of the most sought-after rental properties in Jamaica. This 18th century plantation property is the winter home of the owner, and includes many of the original structures native to the plantation era.
Frankfort’s main house, the old sugar wharf, hides an airy lower-level dining and living room. Three spacious bedrooms are located upstairs, where elegant furnishings are complemented by a TV, VCR, and stereo system. All are air-conditioned and have bath en suite. A large verandah extends outside: perfect for meals, sunbathing, and entertaining under the stars.
A separate structure on the Frankfort property, included in the rental with the main house, is an old school house converted into a self-contained apartment, with an additional bedroom, bathroom, and living area. Poised directly on Frankfort’s soft beach, the studio is a secluded retreat – great for couples who want to get away from it all, listening to the sound of waves lapping against the shore.
Frankfort is a fully-staffed luxury villa, with cook, butler, maid, and security dedicated to the home. Guests of Frankfort may use the estate’s tennis court; the villa is also just minutes from a mini-golf course and horseback riding tours.
