Nestled in a pine forest opening onto an expansive landscaped garden with a heated pool, Les Cigales is an architecturally designed, contemporary single storey, villa. Its name comes from the sound of cicadas – cigales in French – which play the soundtrack of the summer evenings.

Situated on a hillside among olive groves and vineyards just below the charming village of Villedieu, Chateau de Villedieu is a former 12th Century Knights’ Templar fort that boasts panoramic views of the northern Provencal countryside. Restored by the current owners, the interior offers luxury with history as well as spacious rooms, which are cool in summer and can be warmed in winter by log fires.
